The Students on Screen project is led by Dr Kay Calver and Dr Bethan Michael-Fox.

The project focuses on screen representations of students. It examines how they produce, frame, inform and contribute to complex and at times competing understandings about what it might mean to be a student both now and in the past.

The students on screen project also examines how screen constructions of students are shaped and influenced by political, cultural and social factors.

Initiated in 2019, the project has resulted in a range of publications and talks. More details about our publications can be found in the Project Outputs sections of the website.
